One of the prongs on the plug for my vacuum just broke off. :(
1) How do I get the broken prong out of the socket in the wall now; and more importantly:
2) Is it possible to replace the cord/plug thing so that I can plug the vacuum in and use it again? It's not under warranty or anything but it was super expensive and I really want to fix it if possible. Any suggestions ? Thank you.

They didn't have a catagoy for my question but I guess family will do. If I don't go to work soon my husband will leave because of financial stress. We used to live in California where he was making almost $30.00 and hour. We live in Oregon now for a better quaility of life but he's only making $10.03 an hour and he doesn't like his job. I'm finding out that money is the only thing that will make him HAPPY. I have a 7 year old to care for and it would be nice to be able to just buy him out of the house we bought together so he could go his merry way but I don't have" family with money." So whats a hard working woman to do anyway?

Someone has already started to do the work and the home has been partially stoned. The mesh has already been installed, I am more interested in the steps on how to mix the morter, what do I need to mix with morter, best type of morter to use and how to actually apply the stone to the wall? Thanks for your help!

I live right across the street from the cemetery. Everyone sais it's dangerous. But I don't mind it. Is it weird to live here?

The down spouts come down from the gutters around the house and go directly into the ground. They seem to be clogged in the ground with mud, small rocks and silt...any ideas on how to clearn these? The hose is only about 5 inches in diameter. Thanks.

I am a daylily lover. I have found that once the initial scapes finish blooming, no other scapes come up and, of course, no other blooms develope. So, why are some daylilies called re-bloomers?
Who knows the answer?

Do fruit flies bite? I ask this question because I have noticed that there are a few fruit flies still lingering around my garbage bin after we removed all the garbage...and I squashed one between my hands...and there was a tiny dot of bright red blood on my hand...I was just wondering if that was blood from one of them biting me, or if it is there blood. Thank you!

I melted down my electric trimmer recently, bought a new one, who also gets really hot. I have an acre of land. I use 200 feet of 12 or 10 professional grade extention cord, but wonder if the 6 Amp motor just draws to much resistance in the line and ..... overheats

I spend hours hand weeding in my garden and my back hurts! Is there something out ther that works on all veges?? I've done mulching, tilling, and hoeing but the weeds keep coming. I've even tried preen but half of the veges didn't come up. Is there some kind of a miracle weed control out there that I've missed or do I need to just keep taking the Advil for my back? Thanks
