Can the ash from my bonfire of garden weeds,branches, etc be used to improve the soil?

I used mine to fill holes in my yard and covered over it with dirt and seed, those spots have the fullest fastest growing grass in my yard.

Yes, it will be slightly alkaline though and might affect some plants in negative ways.

Yes, if you have acidic soil, it will raise the PH.

Yes, the only fertilizer you lose when you burn is the nitrogen(nitrates)
