i've been through alot of hormonal changes over the past two years. i have been on the depo shot for a year now and it gives me horrible mood swings and i'm always angry and irritable and i think i've only had a solid twenty days without bleeding over the past year i've been on the shot. ive read and heard about a birth control pill called "Yaz" NOT "Yasmine".
"Yaz" is a different pill that is suppose to deal with all the symptoms i've been having. i'm looking for a BC pill that doesnt give me a lot of crazy symptoms and sleepless nights. i dont mind having a normal period, i just dont want to feel so out of control anymore. has anyone heard of or used Yaz? or any BC pill that doesnt make you crazy?

i don't want my period this month, so i skipped the "reminder pills" and started a new pack. but it didn't work, i started my period today. so, does that mean my period will start when its suposed to? even when im trying to control it using the pill. should i take an extra pill in an attempt to stop it? i really don't want my period....this is a really bad time.

I have used Depo Proera on and off now for about 8 years. I began due to Endometriosis and it was a perfect solution to cease menstration and try to reduce the severity and pain. NOTHING ELSE HAD WORKED! (Even steriods and i had been diagnosed at twelve so i had many years of experiements). I stopped having the injection to conceive our children (and was very fortunate - it only took about a year). Now, due to painful menstration AND wanting adequate contraception, i commenced the injections once again. I have now been experiencing several side effects including headaches - everyday, joint pain, and i began menstrating again etc etc. Sick of whinging. So now i have stopped them for about two months. In that time i have been menstrating every week. One week off, one week on etc.

Have you experienced this? Any suggestions? Doc is at a loss and i feel like im back to square one. Any sites you can suggest? It would be most welcomed.

About half way through my cycle and before my period I get menstrual cramps in my lower back. All my sisters and friends get their cramps in the abdomin region, so I'm wondering if this is something that other women experience as well. Thanks ladies!

i know i am playing with death right now...but..this is addicting..
im 13 years old..i know im kinda young but i dont feel right with my body at all...so i make myself throw up..in 3 months i went from 78pounds to 58.My parents are starting to notice and i wanna stop before anyone finds out.Im only bones and can see my spine very easily.As hard as i try to make myself stop i just can't.I dont want to see anyone because i dont want my parents to find out,and if they did its not like they'd understand me.i want to stop..but still feel good about myself im sick of feeling depressed and not good with how i look or feel.Does anyone have suggestions to how to stop this without my parents or family finding out?

ok i put a tampon in friday night and last night i started feeling discomfort and realized i 4GOT TO TAKE IT OUT. now i cant move or anything. i se the string but if i just touch it it hurts. and im reallllllllllyyy blooddy and the blood has these big clots and "chunks" .

I was prescribed Yasmin a month ago by my doctor, and about a week and a half after taking the pill (I didn't miss any, and I took each of them at the same time every night), I had unproctected sex. I searched the questions here and found that different people said that it takes two to six weeks for the pill to take full effect. However, on the official Yasmin site and the information packet that came with the pills it says the pill takes effect only after one week. Is it possible that I have may have become pregnant because I didn't wait long enough?

so i've never used the pill bfore but now i'm thinking bout using it b/c me & my boyfriend are in that phase now .. ok putting that aside .. i've had my period for 4 years now & my mother is all bout keeping everything natural so she thinks it's a lil weird for me to want to use it. can i get it without her permission? if not .. she says she'll think bout it cuz i told her that i need it for 'comfort' nd regulating my period .. whatever bullshit story i fed her lol ... on the real tho, can someone explain to me the whole deal with birth control pills????

i am 4 days late now. i have had unprotected sex about every one to two days this month, even two days before my period which was the only time he went inside me. i have taken 2 test and they were negative but i took one 5 days before my missed period and it had a very faint line. last night i was experiencing pains in my stomach and then had diahrea really bad. i have been having it only in the morning lately but now its at night and has happened two nights in a row. not to mention i did stop taking birth control a week after my last period. i get many headaches now and dizzy all the time. what do you think i am experiencing?

i am in middle school and those of u who have been in middle school or are in middle school know this: i wake up too early! I wake up at 5:45 am! My bus comes at 6:20 am! But sometimes at night i cant get to sleep. u know the feeling? No mater how hard u try u cant sleep! I need help. becuz some nights i cant sleep. And, beluieve me, tht is not fun!
