If someone has pid, will the symptoms ease up without any treatment for it? I know it will not go away without treatment I'm not stupid I'm asking if the symptoms will go away. I am waiting on results from my doc due to lower abdominal pain and my pain has since went away on its own. I would like to know if this would most likely not be pid then? I have no idea what was causing the pain but it was brought on by sex. Please those who have had or know about pid only answer please.

I asked something similar to this earlier but apparently used the wrong word. So, what would make birth control pills less effective? I already know of antibiotics and St. Johns Wort. Thanks!

Would this still be considored abuse?
My boyfriend does drugs, and drinks. The other day he punched me in my stomach. I am very good with pain and nothing ever hurts me. So I cannot even tell if it was painful or not. He also punched me in my job (it wasn't that rough though)

I know that some people may considor it as abuse and some people won't. I was just wondering if it is still considored abuse.

I'm 5"5 and I weigh 8 stone (possibly .1 under now). I want to get to the weight of 6 stone. I hate being 8 stone, I feel so fat. I would rather be underweight then at the average weight. I do restrict my eating (other then with junk foods) but I do tons of exercise. I really want to lose weight quickly but could I lose a stone in two weeks?

I know if you take antibiotics or St. John's Wart, it lowers the effect of birth control. What else can do this? Thanks!

I am interested in practicing natural family planning - charting my cycle and using that to determine my fertile times. I already monitor my cervical mucus but want to start monitoring my temperature.

Does anyone have any helpful advice on the subject, or could you recommend any good websites so that I can learn a bit more about it.

My back hurts me but sometimes usually does, I have been wishy washy- sweet one minute ill as a hornet the next ( mood swings from heck) I am past due on having a period 2-3 weeks now... They said if i don't want my period, i can skip the green ones, and just go on to the next pack. . but then they said something about waiting a week, but im not sure if that was before or after the green ones. Am i supposed to go a week without taking any pills?? doesn't seem right. But if i don't want to bleed, can i take the last pill in the pack, and start a new pack tomorrow??

I'm 20 and have a girlfriend who i love and is a nice women, but at times she throws mood swings out of no where over the smallest things and sometimes after having a mood swing she will say sorry to me but will still do it later again. i like her but i told her i dont like it when she is in these moods. I mean yeah theres that time of month but she does this it seems almost every day.

She sleeps alot (and at strange times of the day), eats fast when she does, gets headaches, gets jealous easily sometimes, can be controling and takes some medication i dont know of except i know they are not bad drugs that you take at partys or anything but i know she takes the pill and pain killers etc.

Maybe this could be partly to do with her growing up and hormones playing a role (she is almost 20), or her past e.g. her parents breaking up about 5 years ago, or could this be some kinda disease thats making her behave this way?

I dont mean to be nosey im just concerned for her

I had a mammogram in April of this year, a follow up from one done a year ago for a painful mass on the bottom of one breast. Both mammograms came back normal.
Recently, I noticed that the breast I was having trouble with seems to indent or go concave (for lack of a better description) when I raise my arms above my head. I don't feel anything different when I do my BSE, but I'm just paranoid that they missed something. What could this be? I have a 9 month old baby, but I only breastfed for a couple weeks because my milk wasn't sufficient for him. Could that have something to do with it?
I know I should go back to the doctor, but I hate going back for another mammogram when I just had one (my insurance is already prickish about a lot of things like physicals, etc.).
