If someone has pid, will the symptoms ease up without any treatment for it? I know it will not go away without treatment I'm not stupid I'm asking if the symptoms will go away. I am waiting on results from my doc due to lower abdominal pain and my pain has since went away on its own. I would like to know if this would most likely not be pid then? I have no idea what was causing the pain but it was brought on by sex. Please those who have had or know about pid only answer please.

I'm familiar with PID and if left untreated the symptoms could get worse causing scarring and other issues.
There are other medical conditions that can have pain like PID such as endometriosis.
