$60 is the standard price for Yasmin, now. The cost might be different by a few dollars at Wal-mart. Yasmin and Yaz are the two most expensive birth control medications. You can try a less expensive one.

A few things real quick: 1.) 3K is what a female Georgetown student pays over the course of the entire period of law school... Not per year. 2.) BC is used for other things, like when cramps get so bad you can't go to work (or in this case school), if you can't go to work you end up on welfare and conservative would whine about that too... 3.) Not all birth control works for things like the BC used in the previous point, some times only the more expensive stuff works for those... 4.) Quit masturbating to Rush Limbaugh and don't talk about things that you don't understand...

Best thing for you to shop around the price for your birth control. I know it is quite expensive this country than other country. If I were you goes over to the Wal-Mart Super Center and check with pharmacies. Get a quote for birth control. Might be cheaper than any other drug store. Or you can goes to the local public clinic or Planned Parenthood agents. They will help you to find a birth control medicine.

It might vary by region, store, and market trends (so it might go up or down in price at the same pharmacy month to month or quarterly). The only way you'd know for sure would be to contact the pharmacy directly and ask them what the "shelf price" of a particular drug is.

You could also go to a public clinic or to Planned Parenthood; they work on a sliding scale, so your fees are based upon your income and expenses.
