Would this still be considored abuse?
My boyfriend does drugs, and drinks. The other day he punched me in my stomach. I am very good with pain and nothing ever hurts me. So I cannot even tell if it was painful or not. He also punched me in my job (it wasn't that rough though)

I know that some people may considor it as abuse and some people won't. I was just wondering if it is still considored abuse.

of course thats abuse, whether it hurts or not! A guy should never hit, punch, pinch, kick or even POKE you. If he's doing drugs and alcohol then the abuse is probally not going to stop, you need to either get him help or leave him! I would say leave him, but I don't know how you feel about him or what you think the right thing is. But I do know that he has no right to hurt you (emotionally or physically) You are better than that. Take care of yourself girl!

YES. That is abuse, if someone hits another person it is abuse. Leave the jerk before it gets worse, and it could cost you your life. You don't want a looser like that, you deserve better. No one deserves to be hit on and no one needs to deal with someone that is on drugs and booze. That only ends up escalating the problems. A man is NOT a man if he hits a woman, that is a sign of weakness.Good luck, best wishes.

I would have to tell you that if a man ever strikes a woman he's trying to feel stronger and better about himself. Yes it is abuse. If I was you I would not be in such a relationship. Your man should love you and nurturer you, and support you. Not hit you. And who's to say that one day he might hurt you really bad, perhaps kill you. I would leave right away.

Yes it is abuse and he will continue doing that to you.
You deserve to be treated better. Do not let him do anything like to you. I understand that you have a high tolerance for pain, but you should not be anyone's punching bag. He needs help.

Of course it is abuse. Get a VERY different boy friend. Life is too short to spend even a moment with someone like that.

It is considered abuse if he knowingly punched you and was mean or angry about it. I understand a playful light punch or jab, but if he was angry, it is abuse.

Don't ever put up with being treated like that-- even if he's high or drunk, he has no right to hit you or try to threaten or scare you into being submissive to him.

YES,of course it is! Nobody has the right to hit you! If you LET this continue, you put yourself in danger, and possibly ,later on,your life in danger.
If he thinks he can punch you because you let him get away with it ONCE,what else will he think is ok to do to you later.
My advice is to leave the sorry S.O.B.in the dust!
HAve some self-respect!

Yes, it is abuse. You should file a police report. It's called assault and battery.
Get away from this man. You deserve so much more. You should be with a man who treats you well.
