Plastic applicaters pop open easier but they are also very awful for our environment. Some cardboard applicaters are biodegradable which is awesome (Try: Playex Beyond)! Personally, all tampons work just as great as the next one despite what the applicater is made out of. I also think that no applicaters are great (Try: OB SilkEase)! I also highly recommend a menstrual cup over tampons anyday.. you should at least try one (: Best of luck!

i admire plastic applicators with the aid of fact i've got self belief like the cardboard rubs the incorrect way. It kinda of hurts whilst i exploit a cardboard one...yet whilst i'm desperate, i think i could. (i admire Kotex Tampons, they seem to be a stable style, and are decrease priced too)

plastic, it slides in easier, plus the diameter of plastic applicator's is smaller, which makes it easier to put in.
