That was about two weeks ago. I'm a normal weight, 5'6 and 135, and eat plenty of iron rich foods. I also have no energy, yet my thyroid test came back negative, even though I had a lot of the symptoms: cold hands, cronic fatique, slow reflexes, low temperature. I'm fifteen and have had my period for three years. What could be the culprit?

I am 23 years old. I work out three times a week do cardio for 15 minutes and spend thirty minutes lifting weights. However, I have one main problem...I have skinny arms that well defined and give people the illusion that I am too skinny. The last time I weighed myself, I was 118lbs. I am 5'7 and Iam well edowed. However I still have to deal with the skinny arm syndrome. Any suggestions on how to solve the problem? Should I start lifting bigger weights

I'm normally very good with pms. It doesn't bother me, the one time it got out of hand was the first time I had my period on Seasonique.
I'm not so good with remembering to take the pill everyday and I'l like to try nuvaring or an iud, but I've heard that nuvaring has some pretty bad hormonal side effects.
I'm 19, I only have sex with my boyfriend and I don't smoke.
Suggestions?

..I don't want to hear any "Just don't have sex crap." Don't force your beliefs on me.

Okay, well... you know when you get discharge before your period?

You know how it's supposed to be white or clear?
Well, mine is a dark colour - almost black.

What does this mean?

I'm sorry, I know it's really unpleasant - but I'm worried and I really do not want to go to the doctor with this problem incase they make me go through an examination.

Thanks!

3 wks ago I started getting mentrual-like cramps that was targeted mainly on my left side. After about 2 wks of that I went to the Health Center at the college I go to and saw a Physician. She did a pelvic exam and I had some blood work done. Now after 2 1/2 wks of cramping the pain turned into general pelvic pain, the pain doesn't feel like cramping anymore... it's worse! So I went back to the Health Center she says that all the tests she did on me came out normal and so she doesn't know what else she can do for me but suggest that I go to a Gynecologist. My problem is that I don't have any health insurance, the only thing I have is Family Pact & it might cover another pelvic exam by the Gyn but nothing else. I might have to have an ultrasound done & would have to pay that cash. So far the cheapest Gyn I've been able to find is $100 for consult (might not have to pay that b/c I have Family Pact) & $100 for an ultrasound. Should I just apply for health insurance now ($144/mo +$50 cpay)

This is to the Endo patients out there. how many of you also suffer from migraines? I read an article (can't find it now) that said in a poll the percentage of women with migraines dramatically increases in women with endo. i personally do have migraines, so I was curious if any others did?

Why is it that menstruation causes such a wide variety of problems. Like, cramps, fatigue, nausea, migraines, and tons of other stuff. I don't understand how something that is supposed to be natural for your body does so much damage..the same for having a baby. But that's not in my question. Any ideas on why it effects so many different areas of your body and so much when it's a natural process?

I have a dermoid cyst that I am going to soon have removed. Fortunately, it is benign. I was wondering if it would be okay to still have sex as long as i am not in pain... or would having sex cause this cyst to rupture or have other complications? i have googled this quite a lot and I can't seem to find an answer.

Hi! I've had lower abdominal pain for the past month or two, and in the past couple weeks I started getting a really bad-smelling vaginal discharge. I saw a doctor, had a pelvic exam, and the lab results said that I have Bacterial Vaginosis. I didn't mention the abdominal pain to the doctor, just because I didn't think of it... the smelly discharge was what was really bothering me at the time.

Now I've been reading about Bacterial Vaginosis, and nowhere does it mention abdominal pain as a symptom. Has anyone else had that as a symptom? Or could I possibly have something more serious- like Pelvic Inflammatory Disease? Should I worry, or should I just wait and see if the prescription for the BV makes it go away?

Please help, give advice, or just give encouragement... I need it.

my wife had this last week we had sex in the morning which is unusual for us. Then we had sex again that night. A few days later she told me she had a little pain urinating and said it was hard to finish urinating. This only happened one day. We have been married one year and have had unprotected sex for last few months.
I have had no problems.
Could she have a bladder infection or something else?
