i'm 13 years old and still havent gotten my period yet. i have a lot of the signs though. pubic hair, breast development, some armpit hair, and discahrge for like 2-3 years. i have noticed some light brown in my underwear and i was wondering is that a sign? my mom got hers when she was 9 so whats the deal???

This is kind of embarassing to ask, but I really need help. Whenever I put a tampon in it hurts like crap, I don't understand why. I've done it plenty of times before, and now I can't, I can't even sit down when I put one in, because it hurts so much, it's like a really sharp pain/burn. Please help me!

Ok, see I am going on vacation next week and just as I feared I will be on my period. I take birth control,ortho tricyclen lo, and I've heard that if you just skip all the green non active pills and start a new pack that your period will go away for that month. Is this true? Has anyone done this and is it ok?

I am 39 yrs old and about a year and a half ago a stopped having regular menstral cycles. I would have one that would last a couple of days then 2wks later have another. Next it went to skipping one alltogether. I would go 2-3 months with nothing and then suddenly I would have one. my last menstral cycle was in Nov. 06 but I just started again yesterday. I have made an appointment but it wont be for another month. Is this normal or not. Has any one else done this. I guess it bothers me because cancer runs in my family so this bothers me for myself and my daughters.

Ok my best friend of 7 years hasn't had her period in like 3 years. Along with that she has a very very strong female odor. She is going to the doctor to get checked on about the 3 years w/out a period but she says that the odor is because of the missing period. Is this true, is this the reason she has this odor. She is a very clean girl she showers daily and is very hygeinic. Info please!

Well I dont have my period yet. But when I get it Im going to have to wear a pad. And I do cheerleading and for a lib the third has to touch your but like where the pad would be and I don't want them to be able to feel it. What should I do?

she is 15 years old and i have taken her to 4 different doctors in the past 10 months and no one can find anything wrongl. symptoms: severe abdominal pain, very frequent UTI's, urinating blood. one doctor said a syst on her ovary and one said no. one said maybe her appendix and one said no. one said just a simple UTI ( well she has had 11 in the past 10 months and 2 of them put her in the ER for about 12 hours from dehidration and pain) will someone please help me. I am at my witts end. but i cant give up this is my child

Hi, One of my friends is havin' a big problem. She is only 25 and a little top heavy. She is 34 DD. Her breasts are already drooping. Her bf has expressed that he 'wishes' that her breasts were not so droopy and a little perky.
Is there anything she can do?

I only had one shot. It's been 3 months and I've hated every minute of it.

I was on birthcontrol a couple of months ago. It was the pill kind that you take at the same time every morning. Well, when I told my boyfriend of 3 years that I was on it...he was kinda sad. He is a great guy...and very in love with me..and I am with him. WEll, I was just wondering....why do you think he was sad? My prescription ran out....and he asked if I was still on it....I said "no"..and he is very happy. Do you think maybe...just maybe I insulted him? I dont know...I want to get back on it...but I am not sure what he will think. It is my decision...but again, what to you think made him sad?

I had sex for the first time last week, and my boyfriend used a condom for protection. However, the next few days i have had belly pains on and off. on one of my boobs, there was this REALLY weird thing. it looked like a seed had been planted under my skin. but it was only partially covered. it was black, and would kind of hurt if i squeezed it. i tried many many MANY times to get it out. i tried squeezing it with my fingers, squeezing it with tweezers, one time i even stuck the "pole thing" of an earring (i can't remember the word...the thing that you slide the back onto, it holds the earring) in and tried to pull it out. nothing ever happened. it bled a little when i did the earring thing, but it didn't come out.

last night, i was sitting in bed and i saw it. it bothers me SO much cause it's kinda noticeable. and with a tiny little squeeze, i saw it slide out a little. i squeezed it a little harder, and it slid out. i looked at it for a few minutes, and realized it looked like a pebble. it was about the size of one, too. it was mostly black, with some brown, and a little white here in there. it was VERY hard, i couldn't crush
