I only had one shot. It's been 3 months and I've hated every minute of it.
We're going to get off of the hormones for a while so I can lose all the related weight.
How long will one shot take to completely clear out?

Well your not protected anymore, but it can take a while for it to get out of your system.
You could get your period right away, or it could take a year or two to get it back.
I went from depo to Kariva (pill) and got mine back after three months.
Glad you got off the shot!

I was on Depo for 6 months and hated it too!! Not for sure as to how long it takes to completely be out of your system but as soon as I didnt go back for my next shot I got pregnant! But atleast all the water retention that I had while on the shot went away fast.

around a month it takes. don take frequently. its fatal
