Infection occurs when bacteria enters the vagina. It's called a urinary tract infection (UTI). There are several ways you may be able to prevent UTIs. After urination, females should wipe from front to back with toilet paper. After bowel movements, be sure to wipe from front to back to avoid spreading bacteria from the rectal area to the urethra. Another thing you can do to prevent bladder infections is to go to the bathroom to empty your bladder frequently. Avoid holding your urine for long periods of time.

Even though you have not defacated, you may still have bacteria back there (for example: from passing gas-- the bacteria is what causes it to smell). Therefore, it is important to ALWAYS wipe from front to back.

Because there is still bacteria "back there" and you could end up brining it forward by wiping back to front.

There's still a ton of bacteria growing on your back side. You can give yourself a urinary tract infection if you're not careful. They suck, and the meds they give you make you feel sick so I'd just be careful.

because even though you don't poo, you have bacteria in your back that, if entering in your vagina, could create you problems
