I got my period in September 2006. I am now on my 5th cycle and I have had it for 23 days. Is it normal for the first few times? If not what can I do?

I was just wanting an opinion....I am TTC and expect my period on Feb. 25 or 26. I was on the pill up until last month (Alesse 28day, which is one of the lowest doses). The first day of my last period was Jan. 30/07. I did get some spotting afterwards, on Feb. 5,6,10,and 21st. The spotting was only noticed once on each day mentioned when I wiped. The first three days the spotting was pink and the last day it happened it was a brownish color. Also I had some cramping for about two weeks, like AF was going to come, at the beginning of Feb. My husband and I have had intercourse on and around those days (lets say every second day)

My questions are....are these symptoms typical after discontinuing oral contreceptives? Or should I test right away for pregnancy? Or just wait to see if I will miss a period?

Oh yeah, this would be baby #3 for me.

What did you use if for and what results did you have, good or bad?

I'm going through "the change" and have been reading up on it. I just started using Pro-Gest, but really haven't notice anything. I understand it could take a few months.

Just wondering about anyone else's personal experiences.

It does not look like a normal period it is lighter then normal, I have not used condoms or birth control since the marriage. (3 months ago) so is it possible to have a light period while being pregnant. I have also had tenderness of the breast, darkend nipple area, nasea, bad mood swings I don't know if this is just my period or if it is cause i could be pregnant. Like I said my period was 5 weeks late. is that normal. I have not been stressed out until this morning when I started to bleed.

I take my birth control every morning at 6:30am so i dont forget. but i forgot to take it this morning. Will it be less affective if i take it at 2:30pm this afternoon?

I have not been late with my period before and i am 34 days late and this morning I finally started to bleed. My husband and I have been tryng to get pregnant since the 5th of january, We have been having intercourse everyday sometimes two- four times a day and i was wondering if i could be pregnant? Also if it is possible to bleed while being pregnant.

I am so freaked out to go walk and check the mail thats directly across the street i like put on a hooded sweatshirt and dress up like a guy so no one will push me into a car i HATE this what can i do to feel safe? been to my doctor have had an internal examination and have a cyst on my left ovary they think my concern is i look seven months pregnant but have to wait another month for scan also have a dragging feeling down below has anyone else had this can the cyst go on its own in the meantime

I don't use disposable razors and i have tried using blades never used and used once and i still get it. I always use mosturizing woman's shaving cream and tried in the shower and bath. I put on unscented lotion afterwards and everything. Also it's never completely smooth, i try getting all the hair but there is always stubble left over PLEASE HELP!!!

Im 15 years old and ive been getting my period for about three years now. At first, my periods were light and didnt cause me any pain, but now, withen the past year my periods have become very heavy and are accompanied by SEVERE cramps and i also get lower backaches and sometimes i get hotflashes. Today it got so bad that i actually had to check out of school : / today was a little different, along with the hotflashes i also had chills (i know this sounds odd) and im very worn out. im wondering if its just regular old period pain or if it could be something more serious? please dont mention the whole "try birth control" thing because im making an appt with my doctor about that, just give me your opinion on what you think it might be, period pain or something more serious? thanks!

These days i would be considered EDNOS if i were to go back. I've had a lot of issues latley that are just driving me a little crazy. Part of me wants to fix the problem, start eating like a normal, healthy 23 year old. And the other part of me.. wants to go even crazier.. I always try to be good for about a day, and then i end up even worse than i was the day before. I really dont' want to go back to a therapist, or to ANY doctor.
But i just can't stand living like this anymore my mother has been pressuring me to even get help (which she didn't when i was underweight) I have had three miscarriages and although my fiance doesn't say it straight out, i know he blames the eating disorder (the doctors that i spoke to after the miscarriages said somethign along the lines as well)
Do you think it is possible to stop feeling like this about my body and my eating habbits without having to go to any type of doctor? Has anyone ever "kicked the habbit" without some help??

Jane Doe was molested by her father through out her teenage years until she moved out after h.s to college. She never reported him nor did her mom. Jane is now an adult, four years went pass after the scene and will like to report what happened to her then, right now. That's her way of closure, but she think it might be too late. Is there anyway Jane can bring justice to this?...by the way, since Jane never told ne1 her father has molested 3 other girls and was never reported by child nor parent out of ignorance or fear.

Help Jane bring justice for not only herself but for the other victims as well who would not testify...how do she go about this being it was years ago?

Last month, my period was three days late....And since I've had my period for the past few months, I've been cramping really badly and even when I'm not on my period I've had abdominal pains. I haven't cramped since sophmore year in highschool and I'm a sophmore in college now. And just last month I started having severe lower back pains where I can barely sit down and get up. I still get them every couple of days. And my period is two days late this month. I get sick when I eat certain things. I'm always bloated and gasy, and it hurts bad when I pee. What could be wrong?

I have BV, I think I have had it for some time now , maybe a few years - I didn't think it was anything because I seen the doctor a few times and he said I was perfectly fine. But I felt there was something. It is a milky type discharge , it's white but it isn't heavy. I'm NOT sexually active. But it doesn't really smell down there. I think it all started with a Yeast infec. I had a few years back, then it turned into this.

I want to get rid of it. Permanently -

so are there any recommendations you can give me, of course I'm going to see a doctor but I'm looking for a new one. I would just like to know a little bit about it or what else it could be.

After being treated how common is it to get it again - I don't douche btw because I know it's bad for you but I do keep very clean down there.

i had my laproscopy last year. Doc found tiny endomitriosis and laser them. We are trying for a baby for the last 5 years. for the last 6 months we were out of the country for business and I had IUI treatment which didnot work but the doctor said that I have fibroid in my womb very close to where my vigina ends. This explains the pain during sex. But my doc who did my laparoscopy here did not mention seeing a foibroid. the doctor abroad said its quite big. What should I do now? I am so furious about this.
