I take my birth control every morning at 6:30am so i dont forget. but i forgot to take it this morning. Will it be less affective if i take it at 2:30pm this afternoon?

maybe a little but its better than not taking it the whole day. plus if you've been good with taking it then you should be fine

Probably not if especially if you do not have sex during that period. However i think the best time to take the pill is in the evening right before bed, and there are some times when you are not going to go to bed the same time every nite especially after a night out but this works for me and i have never had a problem. By the way Yasmin works for me so it may also depends on the brand or type of pill because with yasmin if you miss a day, as soon as you remember you can take the pill and you will still be safe even up to two days miss of the pill you are allowed to take the two pill when you remember to make up.

Probably not. If you accidentally forget to take your birth control only for one day it won't effect you. The Birth control you've previously taken the day before should still be lingering in your system. If you are however unsure, just abstain from sexual intercourse till you're birth control is back on track.

Yes. You will want to use protection (i.e., condoms, or some other form of birth control, besides the pill) for the next 2 weeks. I know it sucks, but it's the price you pay when you delay your body of the hormone!

no just go ahead and take it.......if you forget again then you can take 2 in the morning but dont take more than two at a time!!!!!

you will be fine, my wife forgot and it was about the same time your talking about and called her Doctor. She said take it now and then take it again when you normaly do it won't hurt.

no! your doctor should of told you if you forget to take your pill when you usually take it , to take it when you remember.
