i'm 2 days late, i'm under a ton of stress, im usually pretty reg. but not always.... i've also been pretty sick. my discharge smells like blood but its not colored... should i be worried or relax and wait it out for a couple days.... about 1 1/2 years ago i was 6 days late, since then i've only been 2 days late every 4 months or so

I have been using the withdrawal for about 3 years with no problems at all. My partners have always practised it perfectly and I've never got pregnant. The statistics on many websites, e.g.

http://www.youngwomenshealth.org/malecontraceptives2.html state that out of every 100 women using this method for a year only 4 will get pregnant. That is pretty good stats considering that with the oral contraceptive 1 woman a year will get pgnant-with perfect use and 5 will with 'typical use'. Why is it only people who have either claimed to use this method but not stopped at the right time or people with no experience of this method who act like it is such an irresponsible method to use?
Can anyone actually hold their hands up and say that they know they practiced it perfectly and got pregnant?
I think it is a far better method than the pill-pumping your body full of chemicals every day and reeking havoc with your hormones. Any one agree/disagree/have anything to say on the subject?

Everything I eat either makes me queasy or gives me severe heartburn. I have not changed my diet at all but I am gaining weight (2 sizes in 3 months). I know that I am not pregnant, as I have had my period. Can some one please help me as I do not go to the doctor until March 6th.

I mean crying at the drop of a hat a week or so they are due to start. I cry when an advert comes on, if I spill juice on my top, lol. Once it comes though Im fine, but its the cry baby crap before that irritates me and bewilders the people around me. Seriously people, its quite bad. Anyone experienced the same? What to do??

After popping my pill out, I placed it on my tongue (I even made sure it was there by sticking my tongue out and looking at a mirror). Then I took a big gulp of water. But I feel like when I did I couldn't feel the pill in my mouth but I still swallowed the water anyway. Could the pill have gone anywhere else besides down my throat? Am I just being paranoid?

I just started my period on Tuesday. My periods are abnormal in that I will go months and months without having one. The past 3 months, I've had them regularly, as in one each month, but they have still been abnormal because they have lasted 2 and 3 weeks. Now, it is so heavy, I'm going through super tampons in no time at all. Unfortunately, I'm out of those and am having to use regulars right now. I am also cramping very badly, which never happens, and have soreness of the breasts, which also never happens. I have an appointment for the gynecologist, but it's not until March 15th. My question is, do you have any idea what might be wrong with me? Also, as far as cramps, soreness, and very heavy bleeding, what can I do until I can go to the doctor? I have been taking Midol, but it doesn't seem to work too well. Please help if you can.

I am having a hysterectomy tomorrow due to fibroid tumors...I am wondering if there is any bleeding after the surgery. Will I need to use "napkins"?? Also, I have to stay overnight, so should I take a robe?? I have heard that you have to get up and walk around before you are released. Any advice is welcomed!
