Yes. Periods like to keep us guessing. When I first started, I was on a 28 day cycle. Over the years, I've slowly changed into a 24 day cycle.
A lot of things could effect this: diet, stress, exercise (and body fat), sexual activity and the 'red tent' theory.
Like the other young lady said, just keep track of your periods and if they get too funky, call you OBGYN. They'll be able to help.

Yes it is quite normal. Rarely are periods very regular. I had 2 last month within days of one another, talk about abnormal! A lot of things can affect your periods like, stress, illness, medications and hormones. Just keep a good record of it and when you go to your next pap visit, let the doctor know. He could put you on something that can help regulate your periods. Good-luck and hope this helps.
