my mom is in her late 50 and is overweight. shes about 180. well shs has high blood pressure and has been stressed out during the holidays. both her index fingers are cold but not the other fingers. she has a heart murmor and she works 7 days a week and 10 hours a day. she cant lift heavy weight. she is going to see a doctor in 2 weeks. what is happening to my mom and what can she do to help her health also what will happen in the future if nothing is treated.

Ok, well, people say that three years after you get your period you stop growing. Is that true, because Im 5'0 and I've stopped growing. Im only 13, and I don't have the tallest parents.

Ob-Gyn? Right?
Well, i have always have gynecologist since about 13 years old, but now i have to choose a new doctor because i have different insurance since i got married, & i was wondering what would be best for a women. Does a doctor who does general practice know the same thing a gynecologist knows? Does a gynecologist know about anything other than things about the female body, like will they know about things like diabetes or anything other diseases. I know all doctors have different fields that they practice in. So I want to choose a doctor that would be in my best interest. Like if I have to go to the doctor and I didn't know what was wrong with me, I wouldn't want to go to a doctor who only knows about women's issues, I would want to go to a doctor who knows about more than just women's health.
I'm not stupid or a dummy or anything, i've just had the same doctor for a long time, and never really had to do anything like this.

I don't know if this is just a one time thing because this is only the second time i have gotten my period. But I had cramps that seriously hurt like a mother every single day. I took Midol but it didn't work. I am scared that they I will get cramps again next time and won't know how to handle them..

I just found out that I have endometriosis and their gonna do laparoscopy??? has anyone had this surgery before? what should I expect? I have the option of them going through my belly button or two spots on my lower abdomen........ what would you chose they say sometimes with the belly option it could heal deformed!

Ok so Kinda personal but i'll ask it anyways...

Back in april of last yr we got into a MAJOR car accident...the car went INTO a house..yeahgh so...
we were ok just that my gf had her period the week before it happened and when we got into the accident she got purple ALL over her lower stomach. That week she had her period all week. It was heavy too!

Now months later shes all better, everything is gone. Now here comes the problem...this april is going to be a yr SINCE her period.

I am trying to get her to go to the doctor but she won't go. Why you ask? Her mom WORKS for kaiser and she doesn't want her mother to FIND OUT...ugh! Do you have any advice on WHERE to bring her or what is wrong with her?

Its scaring me sooo much. a YR since her period. IDK WHAT TO DO!!
