I called a ton of drugstores and nobody has them. :(

WELL, I was trying not to gross anyone out with detail, but obviously it comes off as bizarre without the explanation...lol. But ask and ye shall have! :D I need the applicators in order to cure my yeast infection naturally. I get them chronically, and instead of throwing more drugs at this one, I want to try yogurt (recommended by my nurse practitioner). It'd be nice not to have to wash the same applicator over and over for 10 days. :)

Indy Chick - thanks for your suggestion!
Nicole - Actually, I already have a UTI also -- part of the reason I don't want to add a bunch of anti-funguals and antibiotics to my body. I'm trying to cure them both naturally. And it was my nurse practitioner herself who gave me the one applicator I DO have. Do you think putting the yogurt inside will make the UTI worse? Hmm, now I'm worried...

You should contact a local Planned Parenthood. They may have the applicator only. I know they do educational programs and usually pass around examples. So, they may be able to give you some of their old supplies. You can also try GYN offices - but since they don't do education...I doubt those would be empty.

Reply to your additional information: AHHH!!! Well, now that I know what it's for! lol. You should just get a little creative with ways to insert the yogurt. Perhaps a tiny baster? Available in most any kitchen department. The basic point is that you just need to get the goods up and in. ;)

Are you sure that you aren't supposed to be eating the yogurt? I've been told that eating yogurt helps ward off yeast infections, sort of like cranberries for UTI's. I'd be careful putting food up there or anywhere near there since I've heard that alone causes yeast infections!

I believe that you are only supposed to use the yogurt kind of on the general area, not quite up inside of you as this can cause a bladder infection, and since you're already suffering with a yeast infection, I wouldn't recommend this!

No store will sell that, if they did they would not make any profit. If you really want to have the applicator the best solution is to actually buy the product and simply not use the Monistat treatment.

Here are some helpful natural ways to cure yeast infection and a UTI. Good Luck.

ok this is going to be a little graphic
i have used this treatment before and i did it a different way sit in your bath tub and use a spoon to put it in leave it in for about 15 min the stand up and clean off all the drainage then wear a pad to catch the rest as your body naturally expells it
it worked pretty good for me

They deliver a number of those classified ads and junk, and that i additionally put in the plastic wrap off them, the darn tape that seals the bins, and the "secure practices gadget interior." all of them bypass interior the field earlier the field is put in the trash.

I dont think that empty applicators are sold. If only one came in the box, then they intended for you to wash and reuse that one.
