I just recently started my period (yesterday). What is the best stuff to use? Tips please!!

maybe start with pads. but eventually tampons are best. i use the pearl tampon. you might want to start with the slender version of whatever tampons.
i always suggest trying a few different ones be it pads or tampons. you'll find one you really like. at the beginning your flow is usually slight, so don't worry about super plus and all that stuff just yet.
ask your friends what they use. they might let you try something they already have!

You should start off with sanitary pads for teens. I know Always has this brand. Do not start off using tampons. You can try them later. Switch to an overnight type or long when you go to bed. Talk to your mom, if you are comfortable doing that, or an older female who you feel close to. Another female who has been menstruating for awhile will have lots of good advice to give you.

What is the best to use for what? Are you speaking of sanitary products like tampons or pads? Or do you mean you have cramps?

Get always clean, the long or overnight ones, so you went be self-conscious about leaks while you get used to it. Also, the alsways clean have the wipe which helps you feel cleaner. Remember to change often!

do you mean your first period? i used pads until i got the hang of tampons. they can be a bit daunting at first. also some of those wet toilet wipes make you feel fresher cos' lets face it, its not the nicest thing in the world.

i would start off with some always brand pads.
those are the ones i always liked.
dont worry about tampons til u get used to your period.
if u have cramps/bloating,
take midol or pamprin.
if u cant get those, just get some ibuprofen. =]

playtex sport tampons the one with the comercails all the time they work. dony use pads feels like your wearing a diaper

From a guys point of view.. just remain cool and relaxed..Do not drinks ice and mostly do not get moody.
