Inhad breast implants 4 years ago and had to have my left one fixed cause i had problems. Now i get bad pains around the scar. Does anyone know why and what i can do.

You may have developed scar tissue around the implants causing pain. One thing people do not realize with implants is that it is not possible to keep them in forever. See your surgeon

Pains around the scar could very well be just the nerves re-generating from the incisions. If you notice redness, burning, or they are hot to the touch you should see your plastic surgeon immediately. These are all symptoms of infection. Pain in the implant can also be early symptoms of capsular contracture - a condition where scar tissue forms around the entire implant, causing distortion or pain. Either way you should be having check-ups with your surgeon regularily. But pain IS normal - I am 5 weeks post op and still have pains. You should ask a question like this on a breast augmentation forum - people are generally more knowledgeable about implants and don't have a pre-judgemental mindset. Your body is YOUR choice. Period.

Guess that is the only answer that can be given.. Any time there is pain that is ongoing I would be sure to see the doctor. Could be just a simple scar tissue build up but it might not be also.. There are 2 ways for the implant to be taken.
Are you able to feel any lumps (As scar tissue build up?)
Too bad you are not in the area . I would be more than happy to take a look for you.
NO I am not a doctor but I could at least give an opinion.

Go back to the surgeon who fixed them, pains around the scar aren't normal.

I have a scar (not on my breast though). It hurts sometimes and I find that massaging the area seems to help.

you may have to get a 2nd revision. it happens. look up some of the breast implant sites: www.breastimplants411.com www.yestheyrefake.net etc. great boards with info.

Change doctors. Maybe you should get a lawyer. I think they did something wrong if your scar hurts.

go to the Dr. i know its a duh answer but I'm sry hunny but it could be bad! For every one else don't try to fix yourself for men if they don't love you as you are the screw them! their not the right man for you then!!!
