i am still feeling pressure in my chest. taking prilosec for one week now. should i still be feeling this pressure? they ran tests for my heart everything was negative - why do i still feel this uncomfortable feeling?

im 11.My mom says that after I have my first period, (which I have already,about a week ago) I will begin to lose about 2 or 3 pounds.Is that true?
Also,im only 5'2 now,but my doctor predicted my final height was going to be 5'7 or 5'8,but it says that girls will rarely grow 2 inches after their first period.

During my pregnancy with my son my breasts blew up twice their size and I now have bright blue veins that are very visible from right below my shoulders and all over my breasts. Did this happen to any of you? I find it very unattractive....do men also? And I mean bright fluorescent blue!!!

Ive been flicking though yahoo answers, and I know pregnancys a common question topic, but I think Ive got a twist on it.
For the last 7 ish months, my girlfriends been having her period (usually accompanied with a PMS period of a few days) twice a month. Ive been trying to convince her to go to a doctor over it, but shes anxious about it, and I settled on just trusting shes ok if she thinks so.
About 2 months ago the condom broke and she took the morning after pill. Between then and now shes had her period twice (a little lighter according to her, but apparently not spotting) followed by a month of nothing.
Recently shes had mood swings and some cramps (which have now subsided) with no period. If im playing the numbers then shes got a very low chance of being pregnant (with condoms working in all but one cases and the morning after pill) but im still crapping myself that its that, or worse, something associated with the frequent periods.

ok, i was wondering if i should be worried about not having my period since september. and the reason i'm asking is that i am still a virgin there is no possibility that i'm not because i haven't even been put in that situation. i guesse there was a day in november that i had it but it was only one day and one pad. so should i be overly worried or is it normal for a teenaged girl to skip a couple of months with nothing being wrong?

I took the ECP, 'Norlevo', 6 days ago. I took it about an hour after having intercourse, even though I had used a condom which had stayed intact. I experienced very mild abdominal pain for 2 days afterwards, and then my bodily functions returned to normal. It was just yesterday that I have started to have vaginal spotting/light bleeding, which has become slightly more heavy now. It most definitely isn't my period, because my period is due in about 2 and a half weeks.
My question is: does this usually happen with ECP and when does the bleeding usually stop? Also, given that I used it within the hour and I also used another form of contraception, could these signs be of pregnancy or is it too early to tell?

I have not had my period since nov. 11th, and I'm usually pretty regular. I keep anticipating it willl come and it hasn't come yet. I got the shot depo-provera, a birth control injection that lasts for 3 months, in August and I was due to get it again on Nov. 9. But I had sex unprotected around that time only twice, and one time my partner "pulled out". This was only like 3 days after the shot was due and I haven't had sex since b/c I need to go in and get the shot. However, could I be pregnant? I got my period all 3 months while I was on the shot. And I heard that it takes awhile to get pregnant after the .last injedction, at least 6 months after. But could I be pregnant? I have no other symptoms other than a missed period---no nausea, no fatigue, nothing, occasional weakness and headache and occasional breast tnderness, but that's it. Does this sound like pregnancy or a missed period?

More and more women in magazines or those you see online have shaved most of their pubic hair if not all of it. Is this a real percentage of women in general? If you go to workout, have most of the women in the locker room shaved? I can understand to wear a bikini but it seems to go beyond that. Is this just a fad or something long term.

I had sex for the first time about 2 years ago. been with my current bf for a year. we enjoy eachother and are comfortable with eachother, but sex still hurts. why? I am relaxed and do all the things your meant to i.e longer foreplay. but its like hes stretching me out. he average size, but when he enters it feel like hes tearing me. then all the way through sex it hurts and stings around the entrance. It cant be my hymen can it? that should be gone! i went to the docs a few months ago, and she did an internal exam and everything looked fine. she also did tests for clamydia and thrush incase it was that, that was makng me hurt, (i always use condoms so i know i couldnt have anything) and they came back negative. We use non latex condoms, spend time on foreplay, and even use extra lubricant. We try differnt positions but they all seem to hurt, and i dont enjoy it. The other week, he couldnt even get inside me. It was like a wall. whats going on? Its so frustrating! thanks
