I am taking klonopin .25mg in morning and .25mg at night. Is it okay to have once glass of wine once in a while? I really would be bummer if I can never have one? Or do I have once and skip a dose.

If you want your liver to survive then you should skip a dose when you plan to drink the wine. You could do it w/ klonopin but it is horrible for your liver. The klonopin will intensify the effects of the alchohol so be careful if you do it.

Don't take the clonazapam and wine together. As long as they're spaced out pretty well(say at 8am and 10 pm and you have wine at 5pm) it's fine. Don't overdo it on the wine or the effects will be intensified.

I'm a nurse. You will be ok but you can't over do it, medication and drinking don't mix. Take care and you are fine.

If you don't operate machinery, including but not limited to cars & trucks, you should be okay.
