During my pregnancy with my son my breasts blew up twice their size and I now have bright blue veins that are very visible from right below my shoulders and all over my breasts. Did this happen to any of you? I find it very unattractive....do men also? And I mean bright fluorescent blue!!!

Visible veins on your breasts are a normal change associated with pregnancy. This includes varicose veins in the legs. Unfortunately, these pregnancy changes are fairly permanent. They might "fade" a little (hopefully a lot) but there really isn't a cure for them. The reason you get these veins during pregnancy is because your hormones have an affect on your blood vessels; they make them dilate (expand). Also, when you were pregnant, your blood volume (the amount of blood pumping throughout your body) had increased above normal thus affecting your blood vessels as well. Blood vessels are elastic in that they stretch to accommodate an increase in blood volume. Hope this helps . . .

It is normal for a lot of women....I'm not a man so I can't speak for that. It should fade with time (it may get worse around your period). If you are nursing your child, it will get better when your milk dries up.
