Women's Health - August 2006

My best friend just moved away. I keep on trying to contact her, by e-mail, and she won't anwser.
I call her, and when her dad anwser's, he puts her on the phone and then she hangs up laughing. I don't know why she could be mad at me, but I'm really getting restless trying to contact her and find out what's what.

I have a doctor appointment next week, I am 30 no family history of cancer, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is nothing. I heard the doctor will probably do a needle aspiration, is it painful? If it is benign do I still have to undergo a lumpectomy? Can it be done under local anesthesia? I am terrified of general anesthesia! Any helps appreciated, thanks!

my mother-in-law went to this place for a facelift. they had "scheduleing" problems and it took an EXTRA 5 HOURS to get her in. when i called to see "WHAT'S UP?" all they had to say was "sorry."

should i be happy? messed up half of my day?
they're just a business like any other. this is p.i.s.s. poor service.
I'm mad!!!!

at least you all know. what would you do?

I just had a physical 2 months ago where my doc gave me a breast exam, and everything was fine...but now i feel a large lump in my boob and when i touch it it really hurts...should i be concerned?

1. Is it normal to always wake up and discover your period, I mean everytime I get mine it is when I get up..

2. In the first year is it normal to NOT have cramps, I mean will they come to me? or am I just a lucky one to not get them???

i hav lost 4 pounds(is it normal to loose weight if ur pregnant)? my breast are sore,my nipples are dark & protruding & im sleeping alot. have taken 2 preg test which were neg-.Im 26 & have a 6 yr old son my 1st & only preg. last year the Dr. aid my tubes were blocked (a reason he cant explain) .Any one with advice i would apreciate it.

Im a mother of a 5 year old im 23 and i have been with his father for 6 years now,someday we plan to marry.........like i said im 23 and i dont drive a car and i dont work im too SCARED like a panic scared....i have tryed to get my lience but the thought puts me in a panic! i got a job once that lasted 1 day at mcdonalds, i couldnt figure out the register : / so i went home that day never to return. i know i have learning disabilitys? see i cant even spell it right : [ i was always in the slow classes in school and my fear of driveing i think...is due to being a little girl that lived in one with my mother and brother for months while we were homeless. i dont get thinks like normal people do...my boyfriend is so damn smart so smart he went to college a few months back and before he graduated they gave him a teachers job teaching desk top publishing. and here i am at 23 and i didnt even finish high school. please is there anyone out there in this same situation? dont drive and work?
