Most medical practices tend to have major scheduling problems. The reason is not the staffs fault for the most part. The majority of scheduling problems tend to come from extended surgical times. From what I know of the lifestyle lift is that it is a minimally invasive facelift. As a cosmetic surgeon and business owner I know that complication can arrise very often while performing cosmetic surgery. I suspect that the cases the doctor saw before hand might have had complications that forced the doctor to go significantly slower then normal. When you are working around the face, you must be super careful since any mistake could and will cause a significant decline in the quality of life of the patient. So I am sorry to tell you that if this situation arrises in the future, all you can do is either sit there and deal with it or leave. A doctor will/should NEVER hurry a surgical case because the people in the waiting room are getting bored or are wasting their day. To a doctor performing surgery, the only person that should matter to him at the moment is the patient.
