Okay, so first of all...make sure you are not pregnant. If you have never ever been anywhere near a penis then it is unlikely, but if that is not the case, then get yourself a $8 pregnancy test or go to planned parenthood and they will only charge you what you can pay (it is free if you really have no money).
Otherwise, go see a doctor. There are a lot of reasons why young women who are not pregnant may not get their periods. Most of them are NOT dangerous. One important exception is if you have an eating disorder. Women who starve themselves to lose weight will eventually stop having their periods (usually once they have gotten to about 15% below their ideal body weight) and that significant an amount of weight loss can be life threatening because other organs of your body are affected as well.
If you are eating a healthy diet, and are not exercising more than 8-10 or so hours per week (another cause of lack of periods in some women), then your doctor should be able to help find the cause. They should be able to check your hormone levels (FSH, LH, estrogen) and make sure you are otherwise healthy. Do not get freaked out, you will be fine...just get it checked out.

Well... are you on any medications that is causing you to not have periods?
You've had the thing in 6 months ... is this a mirena or a depo provera shot or something?
If you are not on medications that cause this and you can't think that another cause is stopping your periods (like menopause), then you probably should see your doctor. There are a number of physical illnesses that can cause your periods to stop and many of them are treatable.
Are you eating well? Anorexia can cause your periods to lighten and then stop.

6 months is a really long time; but it can happen due to stress. Or you could have a thyroid problem. Either way, you definately should see a doctor.

It can be couple of reasons why you don't get them like beeing too thin or beeing very athletic. It can be the pill too...I have almost nothing with mine. You should go see a doctor because it might also be a problem with you reproductive system.

A doctor can't really help with that.
You have what's called amenorrhea.
It probably can't harm you but it may indicate an underlying problem.
I suggest seeing an traditional chinese medical doctor. They can help you with herbs and acupuncture for this sort of thing.
They have a high success rate with helping women get pregnant. This is a similar issue.

Go see a doctor or if you can't afford one, go to a "free clinic" for a pregnancy test. Most of the time, they'll run a complete blood work up on you, just in case. 2nd, you may have endimetriosis. This could become life threatening. 3rd, a very severe horomonal imbalance. Please have this checked out.

Yes, you should see a doctor. Could be that your hormones are still adjusting, could be PCOS, could be that you have a low body fat percentage. Better to figure things out and stop guessing.

Yes. Definitely make an appointment with your doctor and make sure he does a full hormone blood screening.
Something like this often involves a glandular thing (like your pituitary gland), especially when you WERE regular and suddenly stopped with no external trigger (like sudden massive weight/body fat loss).
Get it looked into soon!

Have you lost a lot of weight (like too much)? If so then that can be the cause.
I would go see a dr no matter what.
