My 19 yr old sis had a lump behind her left nipple recently. She had a mammogram, but she's only a 34A, so results were inconclusive. They sent her for an ultrasound by a specialist, and it turned out to be a cyst. It grows and shrinks, grows and shrinks. My sis goes in for follow up ultrasound in 2 more mos, just to make sure it doesn't turn cancerous.
It could be cancer, yes, but it COULD also be a cyst, non-cancerous tumor, blood clot...
Don't hit the panic button yet, sister. Wait till you get a diagnosis.

I hope you`ve been to the doctor .If you haven`t then go now.A mass should be looked at right away.They take a mammogram and ultrasound if necessary from there the doctor will decide what the next step will be.I`ve had breast cancer twice on the same side so if that is what you have, then the sooner you get it taken care of the better you will be.It might not be anything ,but don`t wait around,do something now.Good luck.

Could mean cancer or just a cyst that comes and goes (not a big deal), or could be glands. If you find a mass, have it checked out.

A MASS OF TISSUE WHERE IT SHOULD BE SOFT. DOESNT ALWAYS MEAN CANCER...COULD BE CYST AND COULD CORRECT ITSELF.....CAFFEINE DRINKER??? CHOCOLATE LOVER??? THESE IVE BEEN TOLD COULD BE THE REASON . IF YOU HAVENT BEEN TOLD ITS CANCER.....WAIT FOR IT TO RESOLVE ITSELF.
