I just got my first period today and my mom isn't home so i have like no one but my grandmother here and i was wondering how long did your first period last and is there a certain time that i should be changing my pads? It's a light flow and all i have right now are like the pantiliner pads and it feels really weird and i don't want to start using tampons this early. Also, how long does it usually take for your period to regulate? So any tips? Thanks

i have been having it for a while...it comes and goes.. i think it is food related. but the doctore told me it was anxiety, heart burn and i need to see a shrink.. i was like are you kidding... has anyone else had this before...Ekg said i was fine.. blood test said my throid was good...

She called in sick at monthend (we're accountants so this is our whole reason for being employed). The excuse she gave was that she was having her period and had a headache.... a slight fever. She has only been employeed two weeks... and has up to now seemed very good. She is in her lower twenties... in case that makes a difference somehow. What do you think is going on ?? Can periods cause fevers in some people where they can't just take a tylenol and come into work?

I have a lot of skin colored bumps all on the inside of my vagina where the tampon should go. Is this normal? Because of this is is hare for me to fit a tampon in. Also, I have never had sex.

I have a history of bladder/kidney infections, particularly after sex. I've been to a urologist years ago and all he did was give me antibiotics when an infection occurred. I had one doctor who gave me an antibiotic to take for one week every month to prevent the infection, it worked for a while but it stopped. I stopped having sex and had no infection for years. I started having sex again and here I go again. I do the cleaning front to back/right after sex, cranberry stuff, etc. Any other ideas besides just not having sex?

I'm 23 and just recently switched off of the Ortho Evra patch because it was increasing my uterine lining and causing break through bleeding both randomly and durring sexual activity. They put me on Junel fe 1/20 (the generic version of Loestrin fe 1/20) and looking online I have found some good things and alot of bad. I just want to get feedback from anyone who has taken Microgestin, Junel fe, or Loestrin fe. Some of the negatives I have seen online are hair loss, weight gain, and loss of libedo. I am scared that this will give me nothing but problems. Please answer if you have any expieriance with these pills.

I have been using FAM for the past two cycles and I have noticed definite temperature increases followed by bleeding. I also have had change in cervix position. My confusion lies in that I don't seem to have a change in cervical mucus. I don't have the "egg-white" days.

I'm 8 days late. Im usually irregular (3-5 days off), but never near 8 days. I started 6.5 yrs ago, so its not age. No sex, but did fool around, a couple dips, but not all the way ya know. haven't tooken THE test. Im hoping im not preg, but ?? Other reasons I could be late: I started exercising just a little, but usually I never do, so is a change 4 my body. No serious stress. But, I got the flu when I was supposed to start (not morning sickness, cuz my brother has the exact same sickness).
I do have period symptoms: tender boobs, and pre-period cramping like I always do, but no blood at all. I dunno if Im preg or something is seriously wrong, or maybe changes for my body have caused a slow down this month. What do you ppl think???

I started having a mucousy discharge while i was pregnant with my daughter and we assumed after she was born it would go away but it didnt. I started having a really bad itch, but it was like up inside there around my cervix mainly, so i went to the dr. and he said he thought it was either gardenerella or bacteria vaginosis and he gave me some pills to take, I took them all and my husband took his too. But within a month the symptoms were back, Now i am having cervical pain and you can feel little bumps on my cervix. If anyone knows what this is please tell me.

They found a second stone last week ( I had the first one two and a half years ago) and now they need to break it up, so I can pass it. Last time they used a stent, to help me pass it and I thought it was horrible. I just can't tolerate pain and am so scared. Wondering if the nurse telling me not to smoke 24 hours prior the procedure is a must follow rule, as I really don't think I can do that, I am addicted smoker. Just please, any info would be greatly appreciated!! One more last thing - as I love jogging and haven't been able to do that since last Thursday, how long after this procedure it would be possible for me to start jogging again. Don't be surprised that I smoke and jog, it is just how I have been.. I can't quit smoking and I don't want to stop jogging. Thanks a lot, and good luck to all of you!!

I am having lower back pain and horrible pain on my right side (ovary area).. Its a constant pain .. IS this a sign of endometreosis ?
Or should I worry about my colon ? I know its not my appendix cause they did a sonogram..

I am getting ready to call my OB and ask for a new birthcontrol. As I posted before I was trying to start the new one Loestrin 24 however to order 3 months worth it cost $100.00. That is a bit steep for our income so I wanted to find another one that might be a generic (They are only $25.00/ 3 months) that comes highliy reccommended from actual people who take it (My ob/gyn is male so I don't think he really understands the whole ...I gained 20 lbs on the last one lost my sex drive and now it doesn't really do all that much for acne problem) I have been on Trinessa 28 day tab for 3 years and was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for a year prior to that. They kept me from getting preg but as I mentioned I didn't have some pleasant side efffects either. So...if you could tell me the one you like best and why I would appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

ok this is a really embarrsing question but i have to ask it...when i shave " down there" the hair comes off..but theres i cant get rid of all of it!
For example: i shave a part n when im done with that part theres still hair there but it looks like its under my skin so i cant get it off.. it really bugs me too..b/c you can still see all the hair after im done shaving but looks like its under my skin.. HOW DO I GET RID OF THAT!?
