Women's Health - July 2006

I am late on my period by 18 days but every pregnancy test I have taken has come out negative. I have even checked the ovulation calander to see how far along I would be and I think I am almost 6 wks. (if I am). I have been pregnant before and I have one child. I couldn't tell that I was pregnant with him until I was 5 wks. or so and the pregnancy tests all came up negative until I was about 7 wks. Should I just wait and see if I start? My friends tell me to wait a couple more wks. but if I am, that could be harmful to the baby... right?

I don't think I'm pregnant, and when I looked it up on the internet it said that it usually happens at 5 months. I know good and well I haen't been pregnant for 5 months...any help?

I am having some problems, for the last two months my periods have been very strange (I've taken numerous pregnancy tests all were negative) what do you think is the problem? Should I be concerned with this? Also I am spotting/bleeding now and I am not suppose to start for another 2 weeks what could this be?

All of my friends started getting boobs and stuff when they were 10 or 11. Some even earlier. but nothing has happened to me. I seriously look like I am 8, no boobs or public hair or anything. Most of the time it does not bother me but lately it has. Wearing a swimsuit is embarrasing for me. I went to a family reunion at a lake and while changing, peeked at my 10 year old cousin. Even she has started. Not fair! My friends tell me how lucky i am not having to worry about my period and stuff. They are all crazy. I just want to be like evryone else. Is there anybody else out there like me? Will I be okay? Thank you!

I will start by letting you know that I stopped taking birth control about 8 months ago in hopes of getting pregnant but I have had no luck so far:( Anyway, I was not supposed to start my period until July 12(today is July 8) but I just used the potty and I had some spotting. I am going to magic mountain tomorrow and DO NOT want to be on my period. I still have BC pills that are not expired yet so I took the first one of the first week because that is supposed to stop you from having your period but Im not sure it will work for me as I have not been taking the pill for about 8 months. Will it help stop it or is there anything else I can do because I really don't want to be on my period tomorrow. Please help.

My wife has smoke for 8 years and she is wanting to quit but, after a day or so she is back to smoking..I smoke myself and I am hardly home I am a truck driver..I told her that I will not smoke around her if she really want to quit but, u know she is still picking up a cigarette..So, if u can answer the question please I will take any advice u can give me for my wife..What is the best way to quit smoking?
