Define 'average'....
Actually, I read this thing having to do with heights and weights. Of course, it would change with bone structure of the person. But here it is:
*100 pounds for the first 5 feet
5 pounds for every inch after that.*
Make sense? So, let's say: You're 5'7". Your ideal (approximent) weight would be: 135 pounds.

I hope you found this useful.

If you're really looking for AVERAGE, The average American woman is 5'4" and weighs 140 lbs. For every inch of height, add or subtract about 5-7 lbs. That doesn't mean that that is the BEST weight for that height. We are an overweight nation

This is a question that can not be answered with one weight given height differences that would change "average". However I have read that in the US the "average" height for women is around 5'4'' - 5'5'' with 130 - 145 being "average". This weight is be gaining to climb however with ever increasing obesity problems.
