My husband went to the ophthalmology office for routine eye exam. He told the doctor the primary reason for visit is need a prescription for new pair eyeglass. When the doctor bill to the insurance, they used code for medical eye exam and refuse to submit service as routine eye exam. Because during the exam doctor find pinguecula “a type of conjunctival degeneration in the eye. It is extremely common and it is most prevalent in tropical climates and is in direct correlation with UV exposure”

My question is: can doctor bill this service as medical eye exam?

I went to the Dominican for my honeymoon and I started getting bad diarrhea and I thought it was the change of food and when I came back home, I still had it but I have a sensitive digestive track so I thought I was adjusting back to american food. Well I started to get severe cramping and I started passing out so I took myself to the hospital and they tested me and found E. Coli - most likely from the food or water down there and put me on IV for dehydration. They put me on an antibiotic called Cipro and said it should clear it up. I've been on it about 6 days and I still have the horrible diarrhea. My mother told me last night that her friend had E Coli and her system has never been the same since and she had it 10 years ago! I'm guessing I had the E Coli for a little over 2 weeks so do you think I'll have any lasting damages? and what will they be?

My father died 3 years ago. I believe that he was murdered, but the local district attorney won't investigate. I want to have him exumed and an autopsy performmed. I do not know what the laws in Alabama are concerning this. My father was admitted to the hospital to keep him away from my step mom who had pneumonia . He was stable and due to his dementia he was wondering the halls. I shaved him the last morning he was alive and almost cut him because his skin was so loose.
A day later he was dead. When he arrived at the funeral home, his face was swollen and his nose was broken. No one had an explanition for how it happened. His nurse said he was suprised to find he had died. He had an allergy to asprin, Iodine, and shellfish. His skin was so thin due to steroids that it would tear like tissue paper. There were no dermal tears, abrasions, or bruises. I believe he was poisoned then suffocated. Any advice?

I know that taking a daily multi vitamin can cause your urine to become bright yellow, but will it cause a really sharp smell? I have been worried about the smell, I have had my urine tested for a UTI and I came out negative but why would it smell so acidy? I don't know how else to describe it. When I get up in the morning my pee is sort of darker colored and throughout the day I pee a lot and it is lighter colored and bright and has that sharp smell. I drink water all day long so I don't think that it is dehydration. Can anyone help?

U.S. consumer group called for an urgent Food and Drug Administration review of the safety of aspartame on Monday, but the FDA said there was no immediate need to do so despite a new study showing the sweetener may cause cancer.

Italian researchers published a new study last week that showed aspartame -- widely used in soft drinks -- might cause leukemia, lymphoma and breast cancer in rats.

I have what doctors call night blindness. Although a doctor didn't tell me that, I researched it online when I noticed I started seeing glare off traffic lights and headlights when I drive at night. So my question is, should I wear glasses at night? Or does it really depend on the severity of it? Thanks for the help! :D

A couple years ago, OsteoValin was advertised as the replacement for other osteoporsis drugs. It was reported to increase bone mass without any side effects.
Now it has disappeared off the shelves of WalMarts and pharmacies. Any ideas why it has disappeared?
