Generally speaking, no. The saliva of canines is freer of any infectious agents than that of humans, as an example, due to the larger volume of antibodies present. However, if a dog is rabid (has rabies) or is a carrier, the infecting organism will be present in the saliva putting you at risk should the dog's teeth, another sharp object or an open wound on your tongue or oral mucosa be present.

If you are talking about a purely non-traumatic contact with a dog's tongue/saliva then the likelihood of disease transmission is essentially nil.

I'm not sure that has been researched or documented. A vet would be likely to let you know.

I speculate that if you are female and getting licked by your dog where the male of our species is meant to penetrate, you may be prone to worms. A dog licks it's anus, where worm eggs lie dormant and then licks you...

You do the calculations on that one. A vet would probably tell you the same thing.

It would be better to be licked by a human who likes to lick. They are out there. Hope you find one. They live a lot longer than dogs too.
