My roommate has a fever of 104.5 since yesterday around 9 pm.
She's been having a lot of nightmares and her cheeks are red. But other then that nothing else but the fever. I called my cousin who is a doctor but he's busy and won't be here until about an hours or so.
Will a cool bath help lower her fever?
Or will it only make it wores?
What should I do to lower her fever?

My eyeglasses are clear plastic frames that fully surround the lenses. In between the frames and lenses, dirt/hairs/other small particles are getting trapped and starting to build up (sorry if it sounds gross!). Because I bought my frames off of E-Bay, the optical that did my lenses cannot replace my frames if they get damaged while popping the lenses out. They say that my frames would have to be heated up slightly to pop out the lenses. If the frames crack during the heating, they are not responsible. Is there anything I can do, or do I have to wait until I need new lenses (I'm keeping the frames as long as possible cuz they're designer and I really like them!)?

hello i was on the depo provera for 9 months i had been on it once before when i was younger i got off of it cause my husband and i wanted to get pregnant it took 3 years of trying to finally conceive with 1 miscarriage before that other than than no other side affects except for three months depression when i first received the shot but it went away.but my doctor put me back on it after having my child i have had hair loss, depresion, cramping pains heart palipitations, back pain, neck pain, anxiety very emotional i would cry for no reason, panick attacks and i am a very calm relaxed happy person i have been having 3 normal periods a month lasting 10 days i have also have 2 indents in the muscle in by butt check where i got the shot and now have a numbing pain down my leg i was totally fine and periods were normal after having my child it all started after talking the shot oh yeah it has been nine months since i have been off of it and i have also been having white milky nipple discharge and i stopped breast feeding a year and a few months ago i was just wondering could anyone please tell me if they have heard anything about a class action lawsuit against depo provera for these side effects they say these side affects are rare cases but i have read so many different woman's horror stories that pretty much are all the same so to me it doesn't seem to be as rare as they make it seem i also read that depo provera is used to castrate sex offenders if I would have known what i know now i would have never taken it sorry to write such a long post but a really think woman should not be using depo provera and i would really like to join a class action lawsuit if i can or if there are any or how to find out how to get one started i think it has to many woman that shouldn't have to just deal with the side affects the company should label that they are common side affects not rare. i hope this post has helped. I hope I feel normal again someday

I turned 17 two weeks ago, so I am allowed to participate in my school's annual blood drive. Thing is, it's scheduled on the same day that the school musical is and I have a decent part (I'm a Pickalittle lady in the Music Man) so I don't know if giving blood is the best idea. I also have AB- blood, which is quite rare and I know that if I ever needed blood, I'd wanna know that the hospital has it and not 'the next best thing.' Help?

OK...I bought these shoes last summer and they are nothing special. In fact they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had EXCEPT...

They are low closed-toe leather shoes and the problem I'm having is at the heel. So, the shoes are closed at the back of the heel but the back of the shoe presses real hard right on top of my left heel. OK this is not easy to explain so sorry for the confusion.

Either way...my question is...how do I soften the leather at the back of the shoe so it stops giving me blisters???

I have a oil on my skin because when I got to athletics they work us until we can't fill our legs, lol. So I sweat and I wash my face everyday but it doesn't seem to work that well. well thanx.

My 70 year-old grandmother fell on the floor last night. She is a heavy woman and no one in the house could lift her because she was unable to assist in lifting her weight. The fire dept. had to come out and lift her.

She said she had tried pulling herself up with her walker but she couldn't. Is there a gizmo out there that I can put in the house for instances like this? I'm sure this won't be the last time.

I have headaches every day . From migraines,to tension and many more. Do anybody eles get these.I have had a ct-scan. I am on medication for migraines. I'm so scared and I have aniexty to my neck I think something eles is going on. Do anybody get headaches everyday,sometimes my nose runs with another type of headache that comes. Do anyone go through this,please let me know. Thanks

In Galway Ireland it was announced that the tap water is contaminated with Cryptosporidium, a parasite from human and animal faces. It will take the council up to six months to build a new filter system. Boiling the tap water will kill the parasite but the thought of drinking water containing human faces even though it is boiled is not an option for me. I need to know is rainwater safe to drink? Collected in a clean plastic container, but open to the environment.

i overdosed with my albuterol inhaler i took 5 puffs or so then i became anxiety ridden so my dr gave me xanax i just took one .5mg a night maybe 1 or 2 nights took 2 or 1 and half..i took it for about 10 days then i started feeling more anxiety muscle twitches and spasms,pain in both arms tingling in fingers,when i lay down i have some pain in my legs and i constantly have to move them sensitive to sound..on the last night i took xanax i feel it didnt help..and then i just stopped it i still feel the same all those things with nausha lack of appetite..3 days ago i started cymbalta i dont know if things are worse or just the same last night i took tylenol pm to try to help me fall asleep and didnt work i havnt been eating much cause i have no appetite and when i try to eat i feel like i have to puke.ive been to the er had blood urine chest xray and ekg done and everything came back fine..what do you think it could be do you think it has something to do with the xanax?

My left eye is having muscle spasms, no one can see them, unless they are real close, but it's driving me crazy..It's been going on all day, is there a way to stop it? What is it caused from? How can I prevent it from happening again? This has happened to me before

Personally I currently sleep about nine hours a night and still feel tired all day but this might be down to sleep apnea i think.But for someone who doesn't have that, is it possible to sleep 4 or 5 hours and feel reasonably fresh all day?

I am trying to figure this out a little bit.

Would the fact that a baby exposed to addictive substances while still in the womb make that person more likely to become addicted to something later in life or more likely to try addictive substances?

My mother smoked 2+ packs of cigarettes a day, drank a lot of coffee and regular Pepsi when she was pregnant with me. All three substances are stimulants. Since I was constantly exposed to them, that would make me more likely to be an addict myself, theoretically, constantly needing to be stimulated. I drink a lot of coffee. I have always drank Pepsi while growing up. I am not a smoker but lately I have craved a cigarette and I don't know why.

Just wondering what the heck is doing on with my body lately.
