My left eye is having muscle spasms, no one can see them, unless they are real close, but it's driving me crazy..It's been going on all day, is there a way to stop it? What is it caused from? How can I prevent it from happening again? This has happened to me before

I went to the eye doctor for this same thing. He said it happens to him about four times a year as well. He said it happens when you are super tired or you are under a lot of stress or a combination of a little bit of both. It is nothing to worry about unless it starts affecting your vision. It is an odd sensation though and it can be annoying.

same thing happened to me, i used to hold my finger on my eye lid but that did nothing so i put ice on it, that helped for a while but i came back so i just left it alone, woke up the next day and it was gone. its very annoying and i think people taught i was crazy but like u said no one could see it hope that helps

JK ... You're not alone. If it worries you enough, see your doctor, but I think your doctor will simply rest your fears and encourage you to live with it. I don't think it necessarily means there's anything wrong.
