ok, i am having a gallstone removed surgically in a few weeks, i have to know why i am getting rapid heart palpitations at night, they come and go. should i be worried about that or does it all have to do with my gallstone.

this happens to me sometimes. im happy most of the time but sometimes feel down & its like im not allowed to be! my friends keep asking whats wrong, which gets me more annoyed! by the way just wondering if this happens to anyone & im not depressed by the way, dont get me wrong!

I get awful migraines, killer! And they're becoming more frequent. My PCP is reluctant to put me on anything for them.
(i have no idea why, i have no other medical conditions or medications that could interact) I take 2 excedrin migraines at the onset, which dulls it to barely tolerable.. if i don't take them at the onset, it's completely unbearable. Any suggestions?

It stared 2 days ago with a BAD FEVER AND BAD CHILLS, now i only have very faint runny nose{nothing major},, but i have a very burning throat and when i cough it feels so horriable. i took buckleys last night for it. i think my throat may be swollen please help with THE SORE THROAT PROBLEM? ANY WAYS TO RELIVE?

I have had this red rash on top off my mouth near the back for 3 days Now . Its saw and jst looks like loads off red spots with little white pimples in .. I always Have Tonslitus At The Same Time but the rash i more sore than my throut . Has This got anything to do with it ?

i am going to the doctor later and i HATE throat cultures.
Will she do one no matter what?

Ive been feeling awful the past few days after eating - no matter what i eat or drink i always feel very sick after - i cant even drink water without feeling sick. what could be causing this? and anyone got any ideas how to stop this?

I have a friend who I think is really suffering from depression and mania. I've known him since we were kids and he has pretty much always gone through cycles of highs and lows that I know are not normal. Lately it is getting really bad, he is abusing alcohol, making bad social and financial decisions, and pushing way the people who care about him. Last night I finally got him to talk to me about how he was feeling and he really broke down and said he thinks he deserves to die and would kill himself if it wouldn't ruin his mom's life. I think I can convince him to get some help but he doesn't have any health insurance and is worried that he can't pay for treatment. He could afford to go to a walk-in clinic but I don't know if they can give him the perscription he needs. We live in northwest Arkansas... does anyone know of any resources he could use?

I am a student and I really enjoy uni, but I find it stupidly hard to get out of bed in the mornings, even after a hard days sleep and end up wasting SOOOO much, time, missing lectures and generally being unproductive. Just wondering, what stratergies, mind tricks, tips you all have???

I am 18 and have constant eye number ie -1.5 from last two years(when i first got glasses)..I dont wanna wear glasses and i cant wear contacts so the only option for me is LASIK....But are there any complications in Lasik...am i the candidate for lasik..i heard people saying that it effect eyes badly in older ages is that true...and i onlyy wanna have it once in lifetime....
