my sister has a sore throat and a white lump at the back of her mouth and she finds hard to swallow so i just wanted 2 know does anybody know what it is

She may have tonsilitis or a throat infection. I'd make her see a doctor she probably needs anti biotics.

Sounds like a throat infection, only clinical examination by your sister's GP can diagnose what the problem is and how severe, maybe need a swab taken for investigation. Whilst she is waiting for an appointment at the surgery ( if she has to ), the pharmacist can advise, with an over the counter treatment to keep her more comfortable meantime, and keep up the water intake.

this is quite common its oral thrush but don't think its a sexual thing it isn't it can be picked up the same as a cold virus can she will need to get antibiotics from the doctors will be cleared up then in a matter of days .sorry to say the sexual thing but people presume when you mention oral it has to be sexual i hope i have not affended you if your sisters young .

Sounds like strep throat, the only way to get rid of that is antiboitics...

Ummmmmm in all do respect to your sister does she you know do that cause that could be it, if so she needs to go to a doctor because she could have caught something and if untreated that could kill her. So just ask her and check it out.

Sounds like oral thrush. She should go to her gp for anti-biotics.
