I have taken 4x the legal dosage of a perscribed anti-inflammitory/pain killer yesterday around noon. Dont feel any different, so I guess im OK?

Why did you do that? Was is cause one didn't work, so you thought you'd try more? If this is the case, you need to call whoever prescribed them. Any medicine that's not working well needs re=assesment by the doc, maybe he can prescribe something else. Were you trying to hurt yourself? You need to TELL someone other than the net. Were you trying to 'get high?" You should try counseling, being desperate for a irresponsible buzz is not a good sign.
As for if the medicine harmed you. There are many things that medicines can do to your organs that don't make you feel sick right away. So, if 'you're not dead' is not always the right way to look at things. Your liver/kidneys can be affected even if you don't feel bad right away, so you really, really should contact your doc, poison control, or go to ER. Specially since you are not specific on why you did it in the first place.

I have to admit that I just had my left Ankle reconstructed and twice I doubled up on the Percoset , I think the biggest danger is to your liver, and make sure you do not drink that is a recipe for disaster . Hang tough and I hope you feel better soon. PS 12 days after surgery I am just taking Advil now so you should feel better soon. It is a fact that the problem area does heal faster when you do not have pain in the area. Hang tough my man you will be OK. TC messtograves

Most obvious question is why? By accident or on purpose? IF its an accident and you feel ok 24 hrs later, than you should be fine. If deliberate, go and get some councelling!

That depends what it was. If it contained acetaminophen you may have destroyed your liver. If it did you should immediately seek medical advice

your fine....to have a serious overdose you would have to take the whole bottle and perhaps more...but don't mess with taking more than needed, your not doing yourself any favor.

if its been that long i would say yes you probably are ok.but please dont do it again! just cause it worked out OK this time aint no sign it always will. Please use according to directions.

Your not dead your OK!! Odds are you would have got sick to your stomach and puked them up anyway.
