I am a 62 yr. old healthy woman. But for 3 years every time I got the flu shot, I got the flu very seriously. This year it went into double pnemonia. Yet my Dr. insists this is a fluke. Can some people be allergic to the shot?. I have never been so sick in my entire life.

I've been really sick all day with very bad diarrhea and vomiting. I've taken Pepto about 3 times, 4 immodium, and I've been trying to keep down toast and gatorade. I'm really not trying to be gross (so no silly answers, please) but I've gone to the bathroom and vomited so much that everything is comming out in a clear-yellow liquid with a brownish-black sediment in it. I really don't want to have to go to the doctor for this, so I was wondering if anyone knew of any old "mom tricks" to help me out. Thanks so much!

Ok so I went to the doc so he could check out these spider bites. If I went now it would be my fourth time going. Every time I get one my stomach and head hurt really bad. My friend says they should be testing them now instead of just giving me anitbiotics. Is this true? Should I look for a new doc. or even be worried? I have been getting "bites" all year. Each and every one getting very large and infected.

I have been having problems in my right eye. I wear contacts for 3 weeks, then they get thrown out.
At the end of the day, my right eye starts getting blurry, and starts putting out mucous blobs.
This is a new thing since my gallbladder surgery. I really only wear them for 12 hours. Maybe that is too long?

Here is the text:
"My girlfriend is a nurse, after a night of heavy drinking, she hooks us up to Saline IVs. Takes care of the hangover in about 20 minutes!" Could someone please speculate if this is safe or healthy?

Here is the page:

Does anyone know if this is (relatively) safe or if that would even work?

I'm watching Dr. 90210, and this girl just started laughing hysterically when the doctor started prepping her. I've seen this before with other people on the show. What is causing this laughter outburst?

I got my first cold sore this year at 23 years of age. I've never had one before, my boyfriend has never had one and we've been together for 4 years. My sister gets them and has had them since she was a kid. Is it possible I drank or ate after her and got the virus, but it just didn't show up until now? I've had two now this year. One came after a bout of food poisoning, the other came after my surgery for my wisdom teeth. Any thoughts?

I visited the doc, he did not check me for strep, said it was sinus infection related but 2 days after starting antibiotics, i got a couple tiny white spots on the back of my throat and red blisters on my throat and tounge. The sore throat started 11 days ago, and hurts as bad now as it did the first day, horrible! cant swallow! Got a little better for a couple days and hurt more in my neck and ears but then right back to the throat.

So my question is do white spots and blisters only occur with strep?

thank you

i have 20/20 vision. but i'm going to be joining the air force as a jet pilot and you need superior vision for that. Is there a way to train my eyesight to be better, naturally or medically (as in pills or something)?

Have read about it online with inconclusive results. Does its physical properties lend itself to fading the ink in a tattoo? Let me know. Thanks!

Fortunately, he didn't find anything terribly disturbing, but I seem to think the worst every time I go. I think a person's reactions stem from past medical experiences, not all of which the doctor himself can be blamed for. Just walking in the doctor's office is a traumatic experience for some people.
