the first guy to do a random kidney donation in DC came to my bio class today, and i was just wondering what happens to you when you donate your kidney.

You only have one kidney left, so you better hope it is good, cause it has to do the work for both of them.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

you just use the one you have left. your body will be just fine. its only an issue if that one goes out on you. then you have a problem.
