I find very strong peppermints (like sugarless Altoids) to be helpful. Might take a couple, but it's usually helpful to me. I also try chewing gum (sugarless, not bubblegum), too. I suffer from daily headaches. Migraines, sinus, cluster, tension, you name it, I probably get it. I have to be creative. And I also find HeadOn to be helpful, as someone else mentioned.
Naturopaths have recommended rubbing peppermint oil on the head (didn't work for me), and some aromatherapy things. None of that helped like sucking the peppermints, chewing the gum, rubbing on HeadOn, and taking Tylenol with pseudoephedrine hcl.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

If you have a migraine, pinch the webbing of skin between your thumb and first finger of the hand that the side of your head hurts is on. If it is a stress headache, push your thumbs against the back of your head right under the back of your skull with a lot of pressure. And of course there is always HeadOn!!!
