I have been biting my fingernails ever since I can remember. It's more habit now than anything, not a nervous reaction or anything like that. Secondly, my nails seem to be super thin. When they grow to a certain point, they buckle and eventually break before getting a real good chance to grow.

So my questions are, does anyone have any good sure fire advice on quitting? Are there any products that can "thicken" a finernail so they can grow stronger and last much longer? And, how can I overcome the "need" and break this nasty habit?

Thanks all.

I went to a party 10 days ago and took a puff off of a friends cigarette, she then informed me that she had put some pot in it. I am so scared and I am worried about it showing up in a random test. How long before it will be out of my system so I can stop freaking out about being "dropped"? I haven't smoked it in years.

Are there any steps one should take when cut (in the finger for example)?
I remember cutting myself on accident, resulting in a deep wound. I disinfected it an put on a band-aid, but still have a big scar now.
For future reference: Is it worth seeing a doctor for something like this? How would you stop the bleeding? Prevent major scarring?

While walking the sidewalk, I crossed paths with a lady and her boxer, and her boxer bit my arm. Its a fairly small bite (only 3 teeth marks) and I was wearing a jacket which was not punctured. Since the jacket wasn't punctured (or atleast i don't see any holds), I don't think any infection could be passed on from the dog such as rabies or the sort. So um... is it possible to be infected with anything if say my jacket was not punctured through at all?

a coldsore do you think they're dirty, gross or whatever? Because I've had one for like ever and not as many guys try to get my number, or look at me when I'm driving lately, and it's kinda depressing. I know it's not something that unusual to have, so why are people so judgemental about it?
