It seems like every old person I know has to take some kind of medication. Are there any old people that don't need any medication at all?

If there is, it is prolly only by choice, becasue our bodies begin to break down and they need medicine to keep them going

NO, THERE ARE NO OLD PEOPLE that do not take medicine .... but there are a lot of people over 60 that don't take medicine - they don't count though because they don't think that they are old

yes, as a matter a fact there are. i know one in particular. she is 94 years old. she does not wear any glasses, and the only thing she takes every night is a glass or two of red wine. she also eats raisins soaked in red wine. one spoon full a day. she take no meds at all.

Actually....
There are older people who do not have to take medicine. However, a larger proportion of our older generation do take medications.

Actually, my 87 year old mother does not take any prescriptions...only a children's vitamin with iron. And my 91 year old dad only takes an 81mg. aspirin, one garlic capsule, and a vitamin E capsule. And both are doing basiclaly fine.

my great grandparents don't take anything except metimucil. haha. my great grandpa had a heart attack and never even went to the hospital. he stayed in bed for 3 weeks to get better.
