i a happy one minute,then seconds later i am angry,i have an anger problem ,i have a short attention span,and sometimes i have really bad depression and the DR said i also have some form of obsessive compusive disorder b/c i akthe ame thngs over and over again??

I've been seeing my shrink for about a year now, every few months for my Zoloft. My shrink seems to be more focused on my weight than anything else. I am trying to build my self esteem. He is well aware that I am exercising at least an hour three times a week and I eat fairly healthily. I know that I'll never be a supermodel or maybe not even where the BMI says I should be, but I CAN be healthy and active. My weight has been stable for a couple years now as well as my thyroid levels (hypothyroidism).I talked to my BF about this yesterday and he says that the shrink is overstepping his boundaries and I should call the local psychiatric board. BTW, my GP doesn't harp on me like this! What do you think? I've tried talking to the shrink and telling him that I'm working on being more active and healthy and that's more important to me than losing weight, but I feel like he has a different agenda--like making me depressed! Advice?

I hate being in large crowds.
I am not at all social.
I am mostley sad, bored, and angry at myself.
I do harm myself.
I always say bad things about myself and I constantly put myself down.
I feel very different from my family and others.
I don't have alot of friends.
I would prefer to be on my own.
I am really shy and uncomfortable when talking to people.
I think anout suicide and ways to commit it, but I don't think I would ever do it.

here are some cases
-attempted to commit suicide if u broke up with him/her
-accusing u for having an affair due to the break up
-harsh words to the extend of aggressiveness or even beating
-stalking u outside yr home/office
-calling u non-stop (24 hrs)
etc.........whatsoever a psycho might do to freak u off

He had a difficult time expressing himself, so basically he didn't ,which left me frustrated most of the time.He would take things I said wrong quite often which would contribute to his anger which he surpressed until I figured him out and then I saw his RAGE!WOW. When people on this site talk about seeing and hearing the devil I know what they are talking about. It totally blew me away. I had only seen very tiny pieces of it during our 6 years together, but once he wanted out of the relationship all Hell broke loose on his part. I kept asking him "Who are you ?" "Where is the man that was my "soulmate"? He coldly said to me "He's GONE man"! I can still hardly believe 6 months later that this has happened . And he is still extremely cold to me like everything was my fault. He will never let me say anything -he just cuts me off mid sentence and saysNO- AM NOT TALKING ABOUT IT !He acts like a child, I never realized how immature he was until we split.I guess thats because he hid it .

My ex had post-natal psychosis with the birth of our daughter 4 years ago.What are the chances that there wiil be a reoccurrance of this condition?She is now pregnant to her new partner and I am worrried for my daughter.The last time my partner was hospitalised for 2 months leaving me to look after our child.We split because she and her family decieded it was my fault she had this breakdown .I still do not fully understand this condition but realise that sometimes they can be a danger to themselves and their children----any adice would be appreciated.

my husbands sister has that. I worry with my two children because my friend keeps saying I better wacth out. My sister in law has three children and her parent take care of them because her husband died using drugs. She never leave her parent, never work, never help taking care her own children.She had 1st baby when she was 16, she is 30 years old now. so over all she is a burden. Grandparent always busy w/ her children and don't have time for my children. Her mother (67 y/o) works harder to supply for the kids. Some times I don't want come to visit them, I am afraid she will be bad model for my kids. I know I am kind a too tough, maybe there is any solutions for me. Thanks anyway.

I am anS and he kept briniI and my brother was the first one I told,and he revealed to me that he did on ''occassion''.When I got help for it he sat down with me one night and said the kids at his school male fun of cutters and tell them they should just'do it and stop messing around'and he kept brining it up the whole time we were together,and he would use flares like he wuld say that too!And he also made some very upsetting remarks for example,we were eating steak and my grandmother asked how I would like mine,and he whispered,if she can cut it and it bleeds,then that's how she wants it.I love my brother but I don't understand this at all.
