Seriously, without looking outside or at a clock or anything, I just know what time it is.

Understand that I make no claims of being psychic or anything.

When my girlfriend woke me up this morning, she asked if I knew what time it was and I instantly replied 11:27. It had just turned
11:28. Things like this happen all the time.

Also, when I put my playlist (which has over 600 songs) on shuffle, sometimes I get a strong feeling what song is going to play next, and it's usually right.

It's just weird.

I know people aren't supposed to self-diagnose, but I am working on a degree in psychology right now and I have researched a lot of mental illnesses for classes. I am 100% positive that I have borderline personality disorder but I don't know whether it is worth getting diagnosed or not because I know there is such a stigma attached to it and a lot of therapists won't work with BP's. Does anyone have any experience with this or advice about how I should approach this?

I don't like clowns (I think they're secretly perverts), porcelain dolls with the eyes that blink, icecream trucks, other people's feet, and the Satanic creatures that live in my backyard. What weird things freak you out?

Somebody suggested that I take some kind of depression medications because they said they could tell I'm depressed, but I don't think they take any. Everybody that I know that has taken any kind of Meds for depression have all said it either made them more depressed or they had real bad side effects. Please only respond if you take meds yourself or are very close to someone who does.

How can you determine that you no longer need antidrepressants? I heard you just can't stop taking them altogether. Does your body develop a need for them? Will you be able to function normally without them?

my mother recently lost her health care coverage and can no longer afford to take her depression medication (zoloft 150 mg). she has not been feeling well ever since. of course she new the depression would come back but its even worse she is even more depressed and has severe headaches, dizziness and her blood pressure went up. could these be side effects of stopping the medication? or something else? has anyone out there ever stopped taking depression med and had these symptoms?

Someone explained to me today that they belive the emotions humans feel of love, sadness, etc are all made up. That sadness isn't real. The only reason you cry when someone dies is because you are not used to having them and that is your way of coping.
He also said that love especially is not a real emotion.

Personally, I think this is all BS. How could you just MAKE UP emotions? I tried to get him to elaborate on this and he could not and tried to change the subject. Does anyone else feel this way and you know where he is coming from? Or do you think this is ridiculous?
