It's a common thing in our bario that each time there is a "fiesta" people for some reason discharge their firearms. It scare the hell out of me...help !!!

I grew up in a small Montana town, things are very different now but many many people then would celebrate by discharging firearms...there was a death of an infant child one time that I can remember, from a falling bullet. You should have fear guns are designed to kill, and it is extremely unsafe to discharge them into the air. as the bullet rises it slows, then on descent it increases velocity and with the exception of a small amount of energy loss from resistance in the air, they impact at a similar velocity. even after traveling many thousands of feet they are more that able to kill.

By the same occasion, call the cops. Discharging a firearm, even pointing it up can be deadly. The bullet coming down at terminal velocity can actually kill someone (195 km/h-320 km/h)

Keep away from the firing range! Put plugs on your ears, close your eyes and imagine some nice things while they discharge!!!

Definitely stay indoors or go somwhere else, not much else you can do and it is pretty scary when drunk revelers do stupid things like that.
