Oh your parents will understand you.
Ask them to or make an appointment with your Local Mental Health Clinic.
That's what I did for my 14 yr old daughter. She has been diagnosed with Dysthymia. A form of Depression.
Talk to someone from your Church, Other family members, Other Adults, School Teacher or Counselor.
Living with depression isn't fun BUT making a decision to get HELP makes a HUGE difference in your life!!!

I went through that, since I was 12, it ended when I told my guy friend everything, when I was 13, now I'm 14 and I'm calm, I free my mind listening to the heaviest music, but trust me, telling som1 is much better, don't save it to yourself, let it out, u don't really need to trust completely in somebody, anyway, if u wanna tlk 2 me, u know where 2 go. Good Luck ;)

Tell your parents you need to see a dr, if not pray to God & ask him to help you, be Specific, talk to him like a person (your best friend,) tell him your sins, ask him to forgive you & He Will Help you, You have to ask in Jesus name though, You know what ? ask him 1st, then listen for any answers to come to you reasonably, it could be through tv, radio, song, people, anything As long as it's Good, it's from God. Then Praise him, Thank him, every day God Bless You, My closest brother committed suicide when he was 16, We looked & talked alike, I've been Depressed ever since, sure I have happy moments... Sincerly Tina, His name is Eric. I don't want to say Was.....

many a time does a child say that their parents don't understand them, but many a time that child hasn't even tried. rather, they go on the offensive, blaming someone that they don't understand instead of taking a break, and looking into themselves for a sec. have you really tried talking to them? if so, psychiatric help might be a good suggestion? just a thought. cheers.

Go out somewhere. For a movie or something play some games or get some friends by chatting or something.

Sounds like clinical depression. No, parents don't always, understand (you cant talk to them at all?) If so, don't confide in just your friends please talk to a school nurse or counselor, or even family physician, it's a start. Please get some help...

Wait. You missed the part where you cut yourself because your boyfriend broke up with you and you cry black tears in a corner each night.
