England and Wales only.
Under planned health reorganisations, local hospitals are planned to close down. How often would you miss them. How often would you travel miles and miles further?

My mom has been fighting to get disability 2.5 years. I wrote our Senator and our situation in the beginning. He's been somewhat involved, mostly just informing us of up and coming court dates, etc...but we always had that information from the Social Security Admin. before...so it wasn't too much help.

She has already been before a judge twice, because her first judge died before we heard his decision. Anyway, today she got a letter in the mail that is from her Senator informing her that "according to the office of hearing and appeals, your claim is ready to be scheduled".

We are wondering what this means. We tried contacting her lawyer but he's out of the office for a while. It says her "claim is ready to be scheduled", so that can't mean that her courtdate is scheduled because we've already done that...twice! The letter is dated very recent, so we know it's not old or back logged mail. Can someone decipher that sentence?? Please!!!

I went to the doctor on Monday and was given an injection of Rocephin and then put on Augmentin 875mg twice a day for 10 days for a nasty sinus infection. We are going out to dinner with some friends tonight and I was wondering if it would be okay for me to have a few glasses of wine with dinner? I've heard alcohol kills the effect of antibiotics, but to what extent???

The only time I have any health problems is when I'm exposed to artificial fragrances (soap, shampoo, air freshener, dryer sheets, perfume, etc).

I have just come off a wonderful health plan and am feeling the bite of prescription out of pocket drug costs !! It is time consuming to say the least in "shopping" for cheap drugs. I am turning to Yahoo to see if I can narrow down to popular drug chains. I am Ohio resident. I have $100 deductible and so far first place I checked, the price was $94 and some change. So, I knew it was coming, but maybe someone out there can direct me for cheaper price. It is not available through my mail in and of course, there is NO generic for Crestor as yet. Thanks
