I have just come off a wonderful health plan and am feeling the bite of prescription out of pocket drug costs !! It is time consuming to say the least in "shopping" for cheap drugs. I am turning to Yahoo to see if I can narrow down to popular drug chains. I am Ohio resident. I have $100 deductible and so far first place I checked, the price was $94 and some change. So, I knew it was coming, but maybe someone out there can direct me for cheaper price. It is not available through my mail in and of course, there is NO generic for Crestor as yet. Thanks

Have you checked with the company that makes Crestor? Sometimes you can get discounts or assistance from the company itself.

You need to get the book "Healthcare for Less" by Michelle Katz. I just bought the book at Barnes and Noble for about $15 and it was worth it...in one of the chapters she focuses on this problem and gives a bunch of great solutions!!!! Not only can you contact the company for patient assistance, but you can see if the doctor you got the perscription from has samples, price around...hello, I found was outrageously priced in my area and Costco was almost half the price!!!!! Why not try to get the medication online, just double check with your doctor. I learned so much from the book that I had no idea existed....some great discounts out there that people do not know about!!!!
