If it doesn't go away in a few days it may be strep and you would need to see a doctor for an antibiotic. Sore throats were invented by the wicked witch of the west and there is nothing worse. Hang on and use all the comfort methods you know and it will get better soon.

6. Take a flashlight and look at your throat. If you see white spots, see a doctor and get an antibiotic.
7. If it lasts more than 10 days, see a doc.
8. If you have allergies, treat them.

you may hgave strep throat, if you have white pockets in your throat, then you need antibiotics to clear it up, if it is simply sinus related then you can use some of those new cloraseptic stips, they work very well
