I have been able to crack my shoulders since I was a teenager - I'm 29 now. However, I never do it.

Last week my right shoulder suddenly, without incident, began throbbing and to move it was difficult and it felt almost like I had dislocated it. I gave it some rest and was able to move it here and there but then it got bad again. Today I'm forcing it around and can hear all sorts of crunching and grinding, as can people sitting near me.

Literally, it feels like any minute now it's just going to break completely off and only be attached by the skin. The pain comes and goes but I just have that scary "don't move it" feeling.

What is up??

(I know I know, go to the ER - I will. But can you tell me what it might be where I didn't do anything?)

Every time I go swim in the ocean, a little water gets stuck in my right ear. Usually it drains by the morning. I went for a swim about an hour ago and my right ear hurts and feels like there is water in there. How do I get the water out and relieve the pain? Also, what do I do to prevent this in the future?

Last night I went to a BBQ and got 5 mosquito bites. How do you treat them?

I don't want to use after-bite because it just makes it worse. Is there anything that I can do or use to make them stop itching me?

My son(14) was bitten by a cat. I am currently on unemployment and had to let my insurance go for financial reasons. I haven't been living in this location long enough to have a family doctor and there doesn't seem to be any walk-ins anywhere close. But that doesn't mean I am not concerned, it just means that if it's not an emergency, I'd really rather not make a bill I can't pay. Your advice PLEASE.

A friend of mine let me use her expensive, nice SPF 30 sunscreen when I went on vacation. I loaded up on it and even reapplied it, but still ended up with a nasty burn. It turns out the sunscreen was expired. I feel so crispy and sore....what can I do?

Yesterday, my boyfriend was stung on his leg, & he thinks it was a bee because the stinger was left in him (he didn't see the bug). He thought he was fine, so he went swimming (this happened @ the beach). Later, at nite, the bite started hurting when he walked & 2day, it has become a big, red, swollen area. He says it feels like a constant pressure of a pain and he put some ice on it & took some ibprofin. Is this a normal reaction to a bee sting? Should he go to the doctor? Is it too late to treat it since he didn't treat it right after he was stung? He hasn't had any other symptoms of possible allergy or anything. Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks!
